Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that many leaders of the Arab and Muslim world congratulated him on his elections victory.

These he said at an event organized by the Likud party in honor of the elections win. The prime minister added: "I'm not talking about one or two leaders…it’s a window to a better future, to hope, all of this is based on the fact that we have turned Israel into an up-and-coming world power,…a strong, independent and progressive state,” he said.

One will wonder how Arab regimes—particularly Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt—find themselves more aligned than ever with Israel on regional priorities. They are infact in a close embrace with the most anti-Muslim administrations in history and stands as one of the few countries genuinely enthusiastic about Trump’s foreign-policy agenda.

Why would an Islamic state—one still governed by "some" interpretations of Islamic law—be so seemingly at ease with such an openly Islamophobic government?

Allah the Almighty said in the glorious Qur'ān:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust).

Q5:51

This is a warning to all Muslims, but will the so called Muslim leaders take heed?
