Yair Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, attracted controversy once again on Tuesday by using a wavering academic theory to promote the claim that Palestine does not exist.

The prime minister's son faces scornful jocularity online as questionable academic theory gets torn to shreds on Twitter.

Yair, 27-year-old, taking to twitter said "there is no such thing" as Palestine because the letter "P" does not exist in the Arabic alphabet.

His theory quickly attracted ridicule on social media, as users noted that the Arabic word for Palestine is "falasteen".

Netanyahu's "logic" resulted in further humiliation of his race in other ways, as commentators were quick to note that there was no letter in the Hebrew alphabet that had a "J" sound...which may mean "NO" Jews, Judea and definitely no Jerusalem.

Faced with ridicule, Netanyahu attempted to justify his claim online by tweeting again that the name "Palestine" was only used for the geographical location when the Romans crushed the Bar-Kokhba Jewish rebel in the second century AD as "punishment".

An academic at Princeton, Zachary Foster, however noted that the name "Palestine" had long been used for the land between the Jordan river and Mediterranean Sea even before the Roman era.

On February 11th 2016, an Israeli lawmaker, Anat Berko had also made similar claim which earned her no applause.

Existentially, adopting such claim by Yair puts the Jews themselves in potential trouble since there is no J in Hebrew.

“If Palestine and Palestinians don’t exist because there is no letter P in Arabic, then I guess Jews doesn't exist because there’s no letter J in hebrew” Omar Al Ghazzawi said in a Twitter post.

The enemies of Islam will always find a reason to attack the dīn, to cause a psychological or physical damage, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hates it.
