1, United States designated Taliban as terrorists. And United States do not negotiate with terrorists.

United States broke this number one rule. They flamboyantly and happily conduct negotiation with Taliban in Qatar.

2, In war, military strength are used to force your enemy to the negotiating table. For some of the seventeen years, that was exactly what United States sought do.

Unfortunately it was United States that was force to willingly sit down to negotiate with Taliban.

3, Negotiation is primarily, give and take. TALIBAN gave nothing substantial, and took everything on the table.

Examples

They demanded and they got an office in Qatar. Remember, they are supposed to be terrorists.

Five major Taliban leaders incarcerated in Guantanamo were released.

Taliban stubbornly refused to recognize the participation of U.S backed Afghan government in any of the negotiation. And United States was powerless to go against that.

Taliban, a supposedly terrorists organization has been conducting external relations with other countries. With Russia, Kazahkstan, Pakistan.

4, In NEGOTIATION, you are told to prepare for a NO DEAL situation. And that was what United States did in 2013. Taliban got the Qatar office, and they shocked the world, and United States especially, when they unfurled the ISLAMIC EMIRATE OF AFGHANISTAN flag. United States refused. TALIBAN insisted. United States froze all public negotiation for almost twenty four months.

But U.S unilaterally renewed NEGOTIATION with vigour.

5, You are also advise to control the tiniest form of emotional display. Your opponent can use that against you.

At the midst of NEGOTIATION, President Trump publicly announced withdrawal of Seven thousand troops. While Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, head of United States negotiating team, was still trying to establish a strong face of United States

During all of these negotiation, the blessed Taliban assassinated the biggest strongman of United States in Afghanistan, General Abduraziq of Kandahar. General Scot Miller, United States force commander, was able to escape by the whiskers in same incident.

Till now, United States have not gotten anything substantial in return from the "terrorists" Taliban. The ragtag army. The militia, the rural folks, among the many designation of United States.

TALIBAN just taught us again, if you haven't gotten any leverage, please don't approach the negotiating table.

The world witnessing the strategic defeat and humiliation of a so-called superpower.

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 249:

كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

Abdurazaq Animasaun Al-Ijebuwi.

How often has a small party vanquished a numerous host by Allah's permission, and Allah is with the patient.
