Moroccan Imam training institute, founded by King Mohammed VI in 2015, functions as a two-year intensive training program made for familiarizing religious leaders with the core elements in which the Moroccan religious model is based upon. It combines Maliki Islam, with a pronounced fusion of modernism and Sufism, this allows it to export its model not only within the continent, but also to the West, as it has done through its imam training programs in Europe and dispatch of Imams to conduct Ramadān especially in Europe.
